First Annual Yoga for Young Professionals (Mental Health Awareness) #1YYP
Young professionals, With impending deadlines, constant emails and meetings, the line between weekend and weekdays is often blurred. It is not uncommon for young professionals to work longer hours and devote less and less time to their mental well-being. Please join Laura M. Abitbol Barrister and Solicitor as it sponsors the First Annual Yoga for Young Professionals #1YYP. This is a charity yoga event on June 25, 2017, at 4 :30 p.m. at Ottawa City Hall. Yoga has often helped many recharge and reset their mind: hopefully it will have a positive impact on you as well! We will be collecting donations at the door. Give what you can! (Tax receipt for income tax purposes will be available for individual donations of .00 or more) All the proceeds collected by Laura M. Abitbol Barrister and Solicitor will benefit the Royal Foundation. ABOUT THIS EVENT'S HOST: Laura Abitbol is originally from Montreal and moved to Ottawa last year. She graduated with two law degrees; one from the University of Ottawa and another from the University of Montreal. It has always been important for her to stay engaged in her community both as a student and a young professional. She works in the City of Ottawa as a family and estates lawyer with the goal of helping those in need. As a young sole practitioner, Laura felt her firm would make some noise and stand for something a little different -The way people 'do business' is changing as a whole and it is her belief that the younger generation of professionals, in all areas of practice, will lead the change.  Join her on June 25, 2017, at Ottawa City Hall for what is shaping up to be a fantastic yoga event supporting a great cause!    ABOUT THIS EVENT'S YOGA INSTRUCTOR: LUCILA AL MAR: Lucila Al Mar is a musician, artist, yogi and collaborator extraordinaire whose greatest passion is empowering the community and bringing people together through the creative arts!
