Computer Game Making – Physics Based – Thursday July 6th
Learn how to design and program an arcade style game for mobile devices or desktop computers. Building Block Studio will guide each student through game design theory and building their creation. Using a tool called Stencyl which allows each child to learn coding without the need to learn all of the nuances of a syntax based programming language, students can focus on the game logic and behaviour of the characters in the game and have a wonderful time creating a digital game. Check out a previous student's golf game. (click on the golf ball to set the power level). Check out an example from one of our students here and more of our example work can be found on our website.
